IMDC Consulting Ltd. v SMR-TEK Industries and others nets a win for the Defendants

We just received oral reasons in this action where our principal, John McDonald, secured a win for our clients who were the defendants. In this case the Plaintiff, IMDC brought a claim, claiming among other things, unjust enrichment, breach of confidentiality, and intentional interference with contractual relations, all of the claims dismissed with costs. John successfully argued that based on a pair of Calderbank v Calderbank style offers to settle made long before trial that cost should be doubled, and they were.
